Cherry Comet may collect the website URL you submit, transaction and order identifiers supplied by our payment provider, your email address when required for receipts or support, basic technical logs, and the public website content needed to produce your report. We do not request your website login credentials.
2. How we use information
We use this information to validate payment, run the requested scan, display or deliver the report, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, answer support requests, and improve reliability. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Public website scanning
The service reads publicly accessible website pages, robots.txt, sitemaps, response headers, and related technical signals. The scan is read-only and does not modify the submitted website.
4. Payments
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy or another disclosed payment provider acting under its own privacy terms. Cherry Comet does not store complete card numbers or card security codes.
5. Retention and security
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to deliver the service, maintain transaction records, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet service can promise absolute security.
6. International processing
Because Cherry Comet is offered online, information may be processed in countries other than your own by hosting, payment, and infrastructure providers, subject to their applicable safeguards.
7. Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we control, subject to legal and fraud-prevention retention requirements, by contacting hello@cherrycomet.com.
